QUOTE-"The initial freedom that Iovine and Field enjoyed at Interscope in the early nineties allowed them to play the music business game by a less coventional set of rules." (44-45)
Reaction- I personally am not really interested in the music as much as the teens from this generation but it was good to know how they got started and what type of people made the buisness the way it is today. Hip hop is the mecca of the other different types of music but it has caused alot of different conflicts wheather it it is the videos or the lyrics.
